Today has been a great day and a terrible day. The last thing I need is some punk cheese muffin telling me about my lack of, bad taste, poor content, rude and crude, and unacceptable.

If I want to hear these things I will compliment myself on being "rude and crude", outlandish, and generally unacceptable.

Election Day 2008

Yes I went to vote today.
I walk to the polls each Election day and vote my conscious.

I do however, have NO tolerance for those people who could vote but do not.
I feel that your US citizenship should be questioned if you do not vote at least in the Presidential Election every 4 years.
Maybe you should move to another country where they do not have to vote or are not allowed to vote.
Just my opinion. Just my blog.

Aside:
I am paying rent tonight at the tavern to watch the Olympics and the Reds vs Cubs games. I am very happy this evening in Wisconsin. Since this is still a smoke them if you got them State, a couple of ladies were at bar asking to smoke. There are three taverns that I go to the are non-smoking. These dumb-asses that everywhere is a smoking room for them. I am glad they were annoyed an left for the other one million taverns in the area that are smoking. I say..... Bugger Off!!!

Ovation at the end of 40th World Tour

Good Morning Blog,
I sit here on the pool deck at the Olympic Trials warm-up pool. There are many athletes working out. Coaches that I look up to are talking to their athletes at 7 a.m. Salo, Rose, etc. It is such a great learning experience for me to listen to them interact with their athletes. I am tired. I do want to be back to work on my houses. However, I do not want this to end. I could not ask for a more appropriate end to the 40th world tour. Thanks to Lake Country for the support. Thanks to Emma for swimming awesome. More coaching goals will be met in the future.

Backstage Pass

So this evening at the first night of Olympic Swimming Trials. I enjoyed the meet by watching it on a big screen TV with a full size scoreboard for times and splits from the warm-up pool.

It was like being at a big rock-n-roll show and we were backstage for the performance. Why because we could. I saw some "poser" coaches from Westmont Swim Club that had to buy tickets and were waving to the camera.

I feel fantastic that I have earned my way to the meet and am not waving to the camera like some "Prime-time Primate" from the Discovery channel.

Successful navigation of the waters of life this past week. Minor flaws but nothing terrible. Feels like a Lynch film or artichoke pizza with Irish Coffee.

work and smile long but good weekend. little of good sleep 50-50 good and bad times on bus that is currently in a slightly hazy road before me red tail lights in front & head lights in the rear view obscure my sight. Pete Townsend rocks in my ear. We do it for the work and smile. I go that extra mile. Early mornings, some long weekends, and evenings. Worth that smile.

UEFA Cup

I would like it publicly known that I would like Chelsea to win the UEFA Cup tomorrow in Moscow. I like Chelsea as a Club. I cannot stand Man U. as a Club.
I put Man U. in the St. Louis Cardinal category. Respect a couple of players but hate their clubs. I really have no reason to dislike them. They have personally done nothing to me and have not lived in either town. None the less, Bugger off, tomorrow, Man U.

To High Life Guy

Open Letter to the Miller High Life Guy,
I would like to commend you on your efforts to promote the High Life. I am drinking one right now. Your mantra is wonderful.

However, after moving to the Milwaukee area, I attended my first Brewers game at Miller Park. The park was great and the food was good. I happily looked for the High Life to drink. It was $7.

Do you see the hypocrisy here?


I suggest that on occasion you throw the average guy a bone. How about $5 for a couple games?
