Backstage Pass

So this evening at the first night of Olympic Swimming Trials. I enjoyed the meet by watching it on a big screen TV with a full size scoreboard for times and splits from the warm-up pool.

It was like being at a big rock-n-roll show and we were backstage for the performance. Why because we could. I saw some "poser" coaches from Westmont Swim Club that had to buy tickets and were waving to the camera.

I feel fantastic that I have earned my way to the meet and am not waving to the camera like some "Prime-time Primate" from the Discovery channel.
